ABOUT THE VILLA

Built in 1983 the villa combines the traditional warm Umbrian style (stone, brick, wood, roof with ancient tiles, oak shutters, floors in terracotta from Impruneta with an original design and distribution of space and contemporary finishes in warm local stone.

On the ground floor there is an entryway, dining room with large windows overlooking the front terrace, kitchen and covered porch, wet bar, half-bath, laundry room.  

The large second floor has a spacious living room on two levels with fireplace and large windows overlooking the garden, terraces and valley beyond, a master bedroom, two full en-suite baths and built-in closet area, a large library/study on two levels with French doors to view balcony and door leading to the terraces and garden.  

On the cozy bright top floor, enjoy garden views from two double bedrooms, a bathroom, and a "granaio" attic with generous storage.

The villa is equipped with all utilities: water, electricity, telephone, cable and internet.

The Pool

For communal use by the homeowners the large private swimming pool surrounded by olive trees is a quick five minute walk from the villa.

The Furnishings

The villa is beautifully furnished with fine European antique furniture and decorative arts collected over generations, featuring two Murano glass chandeliers. The house can be purchased furnished by special arrangement.

LOCATION

The quiet and private location, surrounded by trees and away from the street, makes it an ideal green refuge to rest your mind.

An ideal location 4 km from Narni (10 minutes by car) and 15km from the Amelia (20 minutes by car), the major provincial city of Terni is reached in 15 minutes, and the center of Rome is just over an hour drive away. The railway station of Narni, less than 10 minutes away, has frequent trains arriving at Roma Termini (central station) in less than an hour. 

Two hundred meters of well-maintained private gravel road separate Selvantica from the provincial road, and two kilometers from the Santa Lucia area of Narni, where there are some shops.
