"This has been a very happy family home for 35 years and we look forward to welcoming the next owners!"

Alfonso is a university professor, writer and creativity researcher. He also plays saxophone and co-produces the award-winning recordings of his jazz singer wife, Kitty.  When not traveling the globe for concerts and lectures, the couple divides their time between California and Italy.

Alfonso says: “We love spending time in this quiet oasis away from our hectic city life yet being able to be in Rome or Florence so quickly. Some our favorite things to do are taking scenic drives to explore the surrounding historic hill towns, tasting the regional wines and sampling the delicious dishes of the area, especially during truffle season.  We have even found truffles under the oaks in our garden.

The villa was built by my diplomat parents and is filled with a collection of fine European antiques and decorative arts collected over generations.  It’s a delightful place to entertain friends and family, to recharge and relax.  There is nothing as lovely as waking up to the chirping of songbirds wafting through the fresh country air."
